Kanazawa is a cartographer (map maker) Chito and Yuuri encountered during their tour. They encountered him as he was blowing a building up so that the toppled building would become a bridge over a gorge between two building blocks, but unbeknownst to him, the building almost fell on Chito and Yuuri. Although he left a poor first impression, they soon agreed to help each other, as Chito and Yuuri were also looking for a way to get to the other side, while his bike had broken down.
After they reached the tower and ascended to a higher level, he parted ways with the main cast.
Personality
Making maps is the purpose of his life, and he was very careful with his maps. When his bag of maps fell off a malfunctioning elevator, he jumped out in a futile attempt to grab the bag. Chito and Yuuri managed to pull him back, but he told them to let him fell with the bag. Yuuri tried to cheer him up, and gave him a bar of fruit flavored ration, and in return, Kanazawa gave them his camera. He is currently making a new map for the North.
